Communication

With Asam 101, the assignment reading annotation #7 communication played a big role for the assignment not because it was need originally for the assignment but due to problems with completing it so I had to communicate with my professor to figure out an alternative.

With Chic 102, the Team Research Presentation helped me with communication with having to communicate with my other members to find solutions, work out problems, and spit work into even loads for each other. As well as make an outline and make the order for who's going first to last. And with my Cultural Artifact speech this helped with communication because it was the first presentation I did and it eased me for the next presentations and this also allowed me to talk about my interest to others.

And for Engl 101, the Activity had me communicate with a classmate for us to review each others outlines and brainstorm and give one another feedback about what works and what we can improve on.

 

Teamwork

For the Chic 102 assignment, Team Research Project I worked with 2 others in order to create a project about the Anti-War Movement in the US and we each had to break up the work and create our own sections while keeping them relevant enough to each others so it made a smooth transition each time, from a small timeline, to large transitions made to lead one section into another without confusing the listeners that had little to no knowledge about these events. And with the Textual Analysis assignment I had to communicate and work with one other student which was very difficult due to their lack of communication but it has showed me that teamwork isn't always a smooth sailing thing and there are things that go wrong but in the end we completed the assignment which was taking a quote from a song and in a sense decoding it and putting it into context for those who didn't understand the message in the lyrics.

And for Engl 101 the assignment Activity for Essay 2 didn't necessarily wasn't a team assignment but there was helping between me and another which was helping us better our essays and communicating on what can help and in which way to do it.

 

Critical Thinking

With Asam 101 in my Student Facilitated Discussion I had to create notes for 2 readings and make notes and then discuss the readings to my group to let them know what I had learned and what was the context and importance about each reading. And after that I had to make my own questions about the readings to ask the group as well as ask about their own opinion on the readings we had for the week.

For Chic 102 the Team Research Presentation I had to create a specific presentation  for the Anti-War Movement in the US and the Vietnam war going into details about movements and events that were happening in the time periods between 1967-1969. And with all the research it had to come from our Library here at CSUF with books, newspapers, and documentaries in order to back our claims and support facts.

And for Engl 101 with my Essay I had to compare a movie and reading in regards to what is similar in the ways of how the person was treated by their birthed mother and then how they were taken in by others to better their life but also in how their lives were different and their origin to their ending. This made me think hardly because the similarities came very easily but it was in the differences the difficulty came due to the stories following similar beginnings of neglect and another taking them in as their own and showing them the way around life and not to be ashamed of who they are.
